Jasper Park

Jasper Park is a small, one square city block park located in downtown Thunder City. It’s not much in the way of a “park” with a few areas of neatly trimmed grass, a couple dozen trees and a modest fountain with a concrete plaza to surround. Due to its proximity to the downtown shopping districts, it’s a popular place to visit to catch a little greenery or to grab some food from the carts and stalls that occasionally set up shop there — more frequently at Foodie Town on the weekends.

Jasper Park is named after Alice Jasper, a popular Thunder City politician that helped to establish intensive anti-crime legislature in the 2100’s; most of those laws are now defunct thanks to Syndicate efforts, but the park is well-maintained and treated as an important part of downtown Thunder City’s economical health.
